With a love of beauty and a desire to create, Velta uses her talents in the salon to invite others to benefit from her passion and enthusiasm for couture and style. In addition to being a stylist at W, Velta is also a professional singer, songwriter, model, and aspiring actress.
Hailing originally from the Nordic northern Baltic state of Latvia, she arrived in the U.S. thirteen years ago and relocated to Miami, where she experienced her introduction to the beauty industry. She decided to further her education by attending and graduating from the Paul Mitchell School.
Now residing in Virginia with her loving husband and two adoring (adorable) children, Velta still enjoys traveling, reading historical biographies, or just being out-around-town attending fun events.
Her daily motivation is the gratification she receives from seeing smiles on faces, and that special sparkle in their eyes after her work is done. Oh, and a weekly sushi fix.
